I-75 SOUTH POTENTIAL MANANGED LANES This study will examine the feasibility of implementing priced managed lanes to add capacity to the existing I-75 South corridor between the southern end of I-285 and State Route 16 near the City of Jackson. The study team will analyze stated preference surveys, traffic and revenue data as well as existing conditions to develop 8 alternatives for increasing mobility along this corridor efficiently.

GEORGIA 400 INSTITUTIONAL ANALYSIS This study will examine the feasibility of moving from a fixed-toll system to a variable-toll system on the tolled portion of Georgia 400. The study team will analyze current traffic conditions, queuing times at the Toll Plaza, and market survey responses to assess whether moving to the variable-toll system would mitigate the bottleneck at the Toll Plaza.

SAVANNAH NORTHWEST TOLL EXPRESSWAY This study will examine the feasibility of implementing a new alignment near State Route 21 and the Port of the Savannah. This new alignment will be analyzed to determine if Truck Only Toll lanes would be a feasible solution to the congestion or if other alternatives may prove viable. The study team will use truck surveys and motorist stated preference surveys as well as analyses of the existing conditions to assist in this feasibility test.

I-75/575 HOV/BRT VALUE PRICING CORRIDOR AND FEASIBILITY STUDY
SRTA is proposing to evaluate the public perception of tolls in the I-75 corridor, understand the toll revenues from pricing the proposed I-75 HOV lanes and potential truck only toll lanes, and learn and exchange information with other metropolitan areas as they implement HOT lanes and BRT. This evaluation study will run parallel to the I-75 HOV/BRT environmental impact statement process. The study is funded in part with a $400,000 federal grant.

HOT/TOT STUDY
The High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes Feasibility Study sought to identify corridors where HOT Lanes Facilities would provide congestion relief and enhance safety and efficiency to justify their installation in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
The Truck Only Toll (TOT) Lanes Feasibility Study sought to examine whether the concept of optional truck only facilities would provide congestion relief and enhance safety and efficiency to justify their installation in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. Both the HOT and TOT Studies were finalized as of July 2005. Click here for a copy of the TOT Final Report . Click here for a copy of the HOT Final Report .
